As a parent of kids who are 22, 20, and 18, this episode hits differently now. Lorelei was right to let Rory make her mistakes and learn from them, even though it was hard not to interfere. One of the hardest things in the world is watching your kids get turned around, and knowing they have to do the work themselves to get right again.
