I like to think that Luke will threaten to pull out of sponsoring the team and it leads to the coach being sacked and blacklisted. She really is an absolutely terrible coach, not just morally but in terms of the game - you try to get the ball, you don't assault people. In real life, parents would object and it would lead to investigation and possible charges. I don't think this subplot was written by someone who actually knows anything about football, kids' amateur level or otherwise. What football team are they emulating? Serious answer: 1970s-era Leeds United, perhaps.
