2024-10-20 23:39:16 +0000 UTCThis show was inspired by Sherlock Holmes. Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson becomes House, dispassionate solver of puzzles as cases, and his friend Dr. Wilson. Also the patient's name, Adler, is a Sherlock Holmes character. The casting director demanded an American actor for the role of House and (British) Hugh Laurie's American accent was so convincing that he said 'that's what I'm looking for'. Once upon a time, I started a new show in part because I was excited that Cameron from House was in it, and it became one of my favourites.
