They did say in the beginning if you're treated within the hour it's not fatal, so maybe Finch thought he'd know that. Though still they were upstate so he might not have been able to get somewhere. It was on brand for Reese though. Tbh, if they'd let Fusco get arrested at the end of the episode with no plan to get him out, I'd have considered that much worse than poisoning the hedge fund guy.

2024-12-03 08:14:12 +0000 UTCAfter all the covering that she did for Reese, especially in the Donnelly situations... it surprised me that Carter took such a hard line with Fusco. But with all the recent losses, I guess she was at her limit. I also thought that Reese & Finch owed Lionel more of a helping hand. But since Finch leant out Bear... and reached out to Elias... that mostly makes up for leaving Lionel to sweat it out. Love the way he was ready to take his lumps for his past choices... when he could've put it on Reese. Good man, Lionel. Not that the guy didn't have it coming... but I'm surprised that Finch was okay with them lethally poisoning the bad man.

2024-12-03 06:58:58 +0000 UTCThere's a show in which 'going to Belize' was a euphemism for 'killed'. So Stills wasn't halfway to Belize, he was all the way to Belize. It's a quite well-known show that had aired recently at this point, so I wouldn't be shocked if that line was a reference.

2024-12-02 23:58:58 +0000 UTCA personal favorite of mine, mainly because I love Fusco and he's been overdue back story. I'm so glad Carter realized Fusco is worth saving in time for her and Bear to stick it to HR and save Fusco. First time I saw this one I thought he'd have to tell her Reese did it and then she'd help, and I'm so glad it didn't play out that way. Fusco tried to come through for her last episode and their partnership has developed so much since s1, so she came through for him. Elias comes through again. As sad as it was, Nelson's plot was great and his dynamic with Reese was so awesome. And of course that ending. Can't wait for the next two.
