Sam asking why Paige needs a job as well as her magical vocations is a good reminder that as a mortal he's from the late 19th century. Also probably contributes to why he has such difficulty understanding he needs to earn the right for Paige to call him her father.

2024-12-01 21:40:07 +0000 UTCAs much as I like that they finally remembered to bring Sam back (there really have been so many moments where it would have made sense for him to show up), his portrayal in this one really felt inconsistent to me. Specifically with how annoyed he was at Paige for not embracing her whitelighter side enough when the last two times we saw him he himself was very much done with the whole whitelighter thing. It just feels odd he was so obsessed with Paige not embracing being a whitelighter enough because she also does other things when he outright quit more than once. Leo and Piper switching places was for sure the highlight of this one for me too. I love how good the actors are at imitating each other's mannerisms π
