Viserys delivers here the same lines he had in Season 1, but now in a tone that’s sad instead of angry. This reflects Daemon’s sorrow that he wasn’t there for his brother who he loved. Rhaenyra has a line in the book which amounts to 'My lovelife will be the same as Daemon's.' I wonder if she thinks Seasmoke's rider might be Laenor and that's part of why she flew off so quickly. Larys says a member of his household was accused of using witchcraft to make him born club-footed. I think we're meant to think that was Alys. Aegon the Conqueror's dad was called Aerion so it makes sense that Aeriana would be his sister. She'd have been the living Princess Margaret to the Conqueror's Charles III.
