Finch for me, too. There's so much buttoned down there.. it's compelling. Plus, I'm just partial to Michael Emerson for previously giving me one of the greatest characters ever. Yet Finch never feels any less his own. But I've gotta say... with every rewatch of S1, I feel Lionel creeping up to a close second.

2024-06-12 06:18:13 +0000 UTCYeah, Michael is absolutely amazing. For a lot of s1 I had Finch and Reese tied but the more Finch got out of the library and around the baby episode is probably when Finch pulled ahead for me.

I think Michael plays him spectacularly but the story of Finch and of course the Machine is all interesting and I feel we haven’t come close to cracking the surface and I think the way his character interacts with not just John but everyone else is very very fun to watch.

I loved Carter's answer to Taylor about Finch (Taylor also appreciating Reese being a bad ass was fun.) Finch is going in the field more and more. Tbh I'm fine with Elias killing other mobsters and his father did have it coming in their world for what he did to Elias and his mom. Fusco and Carter really being partners was great. I absolutely can't wait for you to see the final 4. Heading towards the the end of season 1 do you have a favorite character out of our main 4 yet? Just curious.
