Carolines reaction to Stefan and Katherine is so funny. So happy you finally get to meet Enzo and yes he is cute 🤭 I feel so bad for Damon and Enzo seeing the flashbacks being treated like animals just broke my heart. Glad to see Stefan back. Damon has gone through so much in his life and he still doesn't want to bother his lil bro with his problems he loves Stefan so much he Didn't want him to feel guilty that's so sweet. The episode after next is so good the 11th Ep can't wait.

2024-09-26 17:29:18 +0000 UTCI find it a weird take myself, but you're probably gonna see that some people blame Damon for leaving Enzo. That he should've tried all these other things... even though the fire was closing in. In my eyes, he absolutely tried his best, but was never gonna beat the vervain bars. As well as having some PTSD in that moment. As a viewer, I wouldn't hold it against Enzo if the situation was reversed. Just wouldn't be their fault. And it hurt Damon so much that he flipped his switch... And it stayed off for decades. (It was still off when Lexi visited him in NYC... and for much longer.) So most of those revenge killings were done with his humanity off. Obviously not the most recent one with Aaron's aunt. But we know that Damon doesn't let go of these things easily. Though... one of the things that I find so fascinating with Damon is that because he has always accepted his darker vampire nature... his two sides of off & on really aren't that far apart. So it never seems like an extreme change in his nature. Damon either cares deeply about only a select few, or not at all. It's always obvious with Damon that he'd rather live down to people's expectations rather than fail them.
