2024-09-18 14:22:41 +0000 UTCIf I'm not mistaken this is the first episode of the entire series in which Lorelai and Rory don't communicate with each other at all. They don't speak directly in the Season 4 episode 'The Incredible Unsinking Lorelais' but they do leave consecutive messages for each other so it's a conversation of sorts. Paris and Luke have met before. When she was in high school she came to the diner with Rory, made allegations about Stars Hollow's seedy underbelly, and Luke asked Rory 'how much do you like this person?'
