And Caroline would've done the same if she'd come upon Jesse doing that to Elena or Stefan. Jesse couldn't help himself, unfortunately. Personally, I was amused by Damon's interrogation technique... I think Dr. Wes had it coming. (Of course, I get that from a human being viewpoint, we'd be all for eradicating vampires. But from a vampire-centric tv show perspective... me no likey Dr. Wes.)
