Yeah, in this episode we saw Katherine and Amara... both who had / have the cure... reject being fed vampire blood to heal.

2024-09-12 02:21:07 +0000 UTCIn my view, as the anchor, Bonnie is now a corporeal or tangible spirit. She was a perfect choice to be the bridge between realms because as a ghost, she's eternal. Being the anchor just allows her to have a tangible presence in the real world, too.

2024-09-11 23:59:41 +0000 UTCI don’t think Bonnie was turned human to become the anchor - the anchor has to be indestructible and a human is not so a human can’t be the anchor - I think Bonnie was able to become the anchor because she can’t re-die - I don’t think it makes her immortal either because she’s still already dead - she’s simply dead with a foothold on the living side now, because she’s the anchor, if that makes sense. Also, I don’t think Katherine can become a vampire again - she rejected Caroline’s blood just to heal her and you have to have vampire blood in your system to turn so if she can’t have any vampire blood in her system how can she turn? And finally I do remember there being a 4th Doppelgänger mentioned in season 3 when Klaus and Elijah were sharing their origin story and said they had both fallen in love with Tatia Petrova and it was her blood that created the original bloodline - so interesting how the petrova bloodline has interweaved into so much of this particular vampire lore! Also soooo excited you’re going to be reacting to Veronica Mars! One of my favs! I can’t wait - I think you’ll really like it!
