I love this reaction even MORE as a rewatch. For TV shows/series, I get it! A genuine reaction is the best reaction. However, I love rewatch reactions because, they just hit different. We are in, in a different way. Which just creates for us an entirely different level in engaging while watching and the way we laugh and cry with you because of what we all now know, together. Just wonderful! Thank you so much again, for the rewatch and reupload. You cared enough, I love it here!!!

First and foremost RIP Shannen Doherty. She left a legacy with such a brilliant direction to this episode and many others.
When it comes to the cleaners I believe that they were created recently before their first appearance due to situations like this. I don’t want to believe the writers would create a power that couldn’t be used before as they had many exposure risks in the past even before this episode came out.
As for Prue I love how you pointed out when she mentioned she had a bad feeling by saying it’s the feeling of looming death.. if we think about it even more in depth I feel like it may have been hinted in episode 16 (Death takes a Halliwell) when the angel of death hinted words like “I’m not here for you, or not just yet” and also when he says “you’re wasting precious time” and not even that but also how she is the only one to have seen the angel of death rather than the other sisters and she has the communication with him, almost as if death was looming way before in that previous episode.
All I remember is that scene in season 4 when piper said she didn’t want to relive the hell again that she went through with Prue.. watching this episode just reminded me of how hellish this whole situation really was for them.

It is a great episode. I mean, All Hell Absolutely Breaks Loose. However, I couldn't agree more! With Shannen's passing recently, It does hurt more than usual as it did with us just being upset that she was no longer apart of the series.

Yeah, I always thought that was likely the case too. Either that or the two of them on the run trying to hide from demons and unable to leave the underworld for a while. Either way it would have been an interesting plotline to see.
Wow, I've thought about the chill before but I actually never noticed the detail that Piper revived a little bit before Prue in the original timeline. I guess I'm still figuring new details about this episode after all this time. And definetely agree, "or our lives are over" line really hits hard. Another one that was really heartbreaking for me was Prue assuring Piper "he's going to fix it" knowing that the fix will lead to reversed roles of who lives and who survives. And the fact that the reversal of time saves Prue from getting shot yet that didn't actually help her in the new timeline.

The Phoebe/Cole scenes seem to be setting up the idea that she and Cole would remain in the underworld for a significant chunk of Season 4, perhaps being forced to work for evil.
Particularly heartbreaking moments for me on rewatch: 6:37, the moment when Piper has been revived but before Prue has, because you know that after the end of the episode they went through that moment again and discovered she wouldn't wake up; the last words Phoebe will ever say to Prue, 'I'm banking on Cole'; the line 'this has to end now or our lives are over'. Also I wonder now for the first time whether Prue's chill at the end was in fact her sensing the arrival of the Angel of Death, because it was only her he'd come for.

Thanks for doing a rewatch and also sorry that you had to re-experience the pain of this episode...
This episode really is something fron so many different perspectives. Not only for already being such a great heartbreaking episode by itself but it also gives so much to think about upon rewatches as you already pointed out. Like the fact that a certain group of people really was sleeping on their job that day...
One thing that I'll always wonder about is that alternate universe of what would have happened after this episode if Shannen never left the show. They did a good job with the follow up and introducing Paige under the circumstances but I still find it an interesting "what if" to think about.

Almost as much anxiety leading up to this rewatch as there was during the buildup to your first watch. At least I don't have to be worried this time that someone would spoil you on it.
