We did briefly meet Oscar a few episodes ago. Daemon encouraged him to smother his grandfather. Someone online compared Oscar's arrest of Blackwood and confronting of Daemon to Oscar's Tully descendant Catelyn Stark successfully calling on her father's bannermen to arrest Tyrion in GoT S1. There's an added bonus for book readers here in the reveal of who Hugh's mother is. Book readers will know her name and quite a bit more of her backstory. Plus I like how it's unspoken that Addam and Alyn's mother resembled Rhaenys, who was probably her cousin (she's maybe even Rhaenys's half-sister). Corlys has a type it seems.
