The first part of this comment is exactly what I was thinking throughout this reaction. If the kid is concieved at a different time there is no way they would be the same person but younger. It would mean that Piper and Leo would have a completely different kid who would be a completely different person and Chris would cease to exist completely. Even in this show, Piper saw a daughter in the future the girls visited in season 2. Then, she got Wyatt in season 5. Somehow, the changes made to the future resulted in a fact that Piper gave birth to a different child altogether. So it is definetely not just a matter of "he could be younger" for Chris.

Like, I know you were pretty certain he was one of their kids from the start, but actually KNOWING he's Piper and Leo's son just makes things SO painful. Because they're the two that have definitely had the hardest time trusting him, and have also said the worst things to him. So realising that he's had to listen to his parents just really dislike him for so long is really sad. Because, yes, he's done some shady stuff and I totally get them not trusting him. But it's still just painful. Especially when you think about the world he's from and the fact that his morals are likely skewed from it... Also... Phoebe did hit on him. When she was the Goddess of Love... Constantly... 🤣ðŸ˜

2024-03-11 00:12:04 +0000 UTCThere was a show I watched recently where a couple had to travel back in time one year, a few months after having had a kid. As a result of which their kid was erased and no matter how much they tried to replicate them, it only resulted in a different kid. The idea being, conception is so complex that the chances of conceiving the exact same kid twice are negligible. So if Chris was born a few months later, he wouldn't be Chris. Wishing for all evil to be eradicated would probably have to result in the destruction of Earth. And wishing for all demons to cease to exist would still leave the warlocks. Not to mention the humans. I like to think that all wishes have to be consistent with the laws of magic and reality. Which would mean that no wish can resurrect the dead. Also, I like to think that when Chris wishes for Leo to forgive him, it doesn't just artificially change Leo's mind, but is rather like giving Leo instant fast-track therapy. Like how in OUAT the Apprentice gets to view several seasons in a matter of seconds. Which is also my theory regarding the backstory of a certain Buffy character.

I've always thought that while in the past Chris has 'walls' up and that scene with Phoebe, and any scene this episode with Phoebe and Paige show his vulnerability and just how much of a 'little kid' he is in a sense.
