I don't think Rory was being sarcastic when she said 'Have fun'. I think Emily just assumed she was, because Emily expected so much not to. I can't imagine making 4 green beans last an hour and a half. That takes some serious commitment to the goal of annoying Trix. Scout Taylor-Compton, who played Clara in this and previous episodes, turned 14 a month after this episode aired. It would be difficult for Jess to have the high ground on Dean, unless Jess could find a nearby hill.
