I've always assumed that Chris was lying in the Titans episode. I mean, in that episode he talks about titans rulling the world but then the reason he time travelled ended up being Wyatt. My theory is that the Charmed ones defeated the titans anyway in the original timeline, Chris just took the titans as opportunity to get close to them and make Leo an elder (clearing the Whitelighter position and making sure it goes to him as a reward). After all, in season 5 he claims titans rulled the world in the future but we later learn that the evil ruler in the future is Wyatt. Also it would go along with how titans are presented as a major threat but then dealt with very easily in that episode and we learn that there are other much more pressing issues at hand (Chris, Leo becoming an elder etc.)
I do kind of like the Paige becoming a full whitelighter theory too though. Never thought about that option but it would also make sense.

It's also possible he was totally lying about Paige being killed by the Titans as a way to get in with them...

This episode has two of my favorite lines:
- Well, you'll be happy to know, you're a boy!
- From the womb? He had powers from the womb?! Unbelievable, it's not as if I don't have an inferiority complex with him already, thank you.
Truly shows Piper and Chris share the snarkiness gene, haha, I love their delivery.

There's a seeming conflict between this episode Chris's line about how in the future, Paige is the one he goes to for money, with his claim in his first episode that Paige was originally killed then by the Titans.
I like to think that she became a full whitelighter and continued living on Earth and lending him money after her death.

Again all the moments with Chris and Piper are so cute, and my heart hurts when I see Chris beating up Leo, his life is just tragic 😔

This episode has always been absolutely delicious to me. I'm a sucker for angsty storylines and Chris truly is my favourite Halliwell.

If Wyatt just turned evil at 16 with Piper's death, Chris wouldn't be going back to when Wyatt was a baby to stop it. Even if Piper's death probably didn't help matters, I feel like Wyatt was already on a dark path. There just wasn't much the Charmed Ones could do about it.

It depends if Wyatt was already evil at 16(?) or Piper death triggered whole thing. Because if Wyatt was goodish still, Chris would call him to heal Piper, but at the same time i think someone would notice that Wyatt was evil teenager.... 🤔 sadly we don't know much.

My fav theory about why future Leo didn't care about Chris is that he was too much elder at that point when Chris was born, too much that Leo we see at the moment he shows up im this episode in his head in the clouds. Elders are separated from mortal world and mortal emotions. Kinda "he doesnt love, he just remembered that he used to" And he never actually felt love for Chris

A common fan theory is that Leo had Chris "on mute" for his 14th birthday because he knew Chris would be upset that Leo wasn't there, and that's why he ended up missing the call when Chris called Leo to help heal Piper, leading to Piper's death. I know you love Leo, but my heart breaks for Chris just imagining the life he led, with an evil brother, a father who played favorites, the loss of his mother, and eventually, the world completely staggering under Wyatt's rule.
