I love that lingered shot on Stefan's face when he was holding onto Klaus' heart. You can sense the unresolved tension and a little bit of guilt coming from him all within a look.

2024-04-04 00:06:39 +0000 UTCthe characters carelessness and stupidity really annoys me in this episode lol. elena drinking alcohol and not immediately going to the hospital after losing a bunch of blood. the characters celebrating at the end as though evil alaric isn't still out there. tyler thinking he could help elena up, tell off klaus, and then casually walk out the door together without klaus stopping them lol (he got lucky that damon and stefan showed up right at that moment to help put him down). when the characters behave stupidly just to progress the plot, it really bugs me lol.

2024-04-03 00:31:57 +0000 UTCThis is only my second time watching, so perhaps someone out there can answer....are the daylight rings attuned to the specific vampire wearing them? Otherwise, I see no reason why Dark Alaric waited for Stefan and Damon to revive and didn't just take one of their rings to use on himself. I figure a daylight ring must only be usable by the vampire for whom it's made, rather than be generic like the resurrection ring?
