Will being a big brother works in principle because he's got way more real-life experience than El does; in practical terms she's a month older than he is, going by dates given in the show. You mentioned Pennywise in your last Tru Calling reaction; I'm getting a Stephen King's It vibe from this episode. Appropriate since the adults fight It between May 28 and May 31. I also got a Supernatural vibe based on comparing Chrissy to Mary and Jess.
