Yeah, the idea for what Xena would accomadate was one show that would be difficult to upload on YT to be reacted to. We shall have to see because it was user voted so if people want that, it would win.

2022-04-18 09:22:19 +0000 UTCI liked that Otere's dynamic with Xena is marked as different from Gabrielle's right away. Gabrielle aspired to learn from Xena whereas Otere is prophesised to "take power from" Xena. And, where Xena saved Gabrielle's village the first time they met, Xena massacred Otere's people and was encouraged to kill her in the past. There will be a guardedness in their dynamic from the start which they'll need to overcome. I do think this episode succeeded in presenting a number of new characters who might have more to offer should they return in a permanent or recurring capacity. Apart from Otere, Yakut (Otere's friend who was more eager to kill Xena) and Cyene also have potential. This ties in with the whole "soft reboot" feel you mentioned this episode having. Loved Alti's power! I've never seen anything like it outside of Xena. And it is such an excellent opportunity for a TV show to tap into the weight of the many blows, both physical and psychological, Xena has endured throughout her journey. Any thoughts on what type of new "companion(s)" you'd like to see on season 4? Season 4 is, by the way, another really good season!
