I have been holding back because before now most of Dean's annoying hypocritical holier than though tendencies have been severely subtle, but I am not a fan of Dean. This episode highlights perfect just one of millions more examples to come. At the beginning of the episode, he was literally talking down to Sam about not immediately killing Ruby the moment that he found out that she was a demon. Then, at the end of the episode he has one conversation with the demon lady while they were trapped and wants to keep her alive and gets mad at Sam and even fears that he "came back darker" because this time he did immediately kill that demon? Dean is always acting like his word is final, is decisions are law and he is always right while also treating all of Sam's input and decisions are completely wrong!
