i'm not well informed on the spiderman side of things in terms of the timeline but i do know they say they were going to go bankrupt and they didn't think blade was going to do well but that it ended up paying the bill for iron man and well we know how iron man did

I could see that case being made. I know there's a lot of discussion and debate about Blade or X-Men or Spider-Man (with Tobey Maguire) with regards to this.

well they are still connected ....xmen first class is a prequel and the rest well i can't say exactly without giving away storyline............................. also i really hated storms whole they can't cure us speech to someone like rogue....you have this cool storm power and pass completely as a human. meanwhile rogue kills anyone she touches.....you have no idea how some of the others feel

These three films are sort of a trilogy, but there are numerous other X-Men films that are still very connected. It's a weird franchise in terms of continuity 😅 If you're familiar with reactor Natalie Gold, she's also been catching up on the X-Men film franchise, and I'd recommend her watch order so far for you too, which is the three films you've just finished, and then X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: First Class, The Wolverine, and X-Men: Days of Future Past. After that, there are technically other films in the franchise but the only one I've seen is "Logan," which I do heartily recommend.
Just a note, I don't know if you realized it, because I think you thought it was Xavier lifting the cars in the neighborhood up as a demonstration at the beginning flashback when they visited Jean, but it was actually Jean, as she was already that powerful at the time.
Colossus throwing Wolverine in the training simulation is a real move from the comics called the Cannonball that the two of them have!
Also just wanna say that I loved your line "She Thanos-snapped before it was cool!" XD
You are correct in that Charles transferred his consciousness into another body! Good catch! The couple other reactors I've seen watch this movie missed the foreshadowing earlier in the film with Xavier teaching the class and were often confused about what happened when he showed up apparently alive again.
Thanks for reacting to these X-Men films! The first one is really the one that revived the superhero film genre that eventually led to the MCU and I think it does really hold up pretty well even today (22 years later!).
