the issue with the writing is they didn't show the passage of time well. Obviously they can't show 6 hours of them fighting off bugs and they chose to not have any other means then just waiting it out into an hour show but they didn't even do a fade away or show a clock hand turning

Reminds me of the Truman Show "cue the sun" - I even made a video about it on my channel haha (won't link you as I used future spn clips for comedy purposes)

FYI - Jared and Jensen were subjected a mass amount of bees, only for the bees to not show up properly on camera, so they had to CGI them in... It's the one episode they've said they'd film again but without the actual live bees. They got stung so many times!
