Thank you so much, Liam for Reacting to this Amazing film. I thought Stephanie was Louisa, because of her Alto & bass tones, in her vocals? The visuals, theπΊπ½ the life like the Casita is a Character too, all the Characters, are so relatable, even if their magical, & the songs, breath taking, & the meaning beautiful & heartbreaking the love of the family is what makes this film so special, no evile characters just the ones Abello faces in the beginning & ending, during the butterfly song. The soundtrack is so much fun. Tho Heartbreaking. β¨π―οΈβ¨ππ½πΊπ½π΅

I love Encanto. I love that they did such a great film that deals with issues of generational trauma. The short that is meant to go before encanto is also good. I believe it is called Up In the Tree. It also deals with trauma and it made me cry. Sidenote: I do love how Antonio doesn't realize that the strange man living in the house is uncle bruno but he still offers him the plushie mirabel gave him to make him less nervous. He's a good kid and a sweetheart.

So weird! I watched the intro and never heard it. Now I feel silly. But did you know she was in labor while recording "Waiting On A Miracle?"

Made a mention of that in the beginning of the movie and at the very end :)

Did you know that Stephanie Beatriz (aka Rosa on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine") voices Mirabel? Yes, including the singing.
