The most terrifying thing about this episode for me has always been that not only “could” this really happen, it’s based on a real family from the early part of 19th century America.

2022-03-20 20:09:00 +0000 UTCI started in 2012 when there were only seven seasons. Made it easier to catch up to the present. All 15 after the fact truly is the 15 reacting labours of Hercules, even for a show that I enjoy as much as I very much do this one.

2022-03-12 12:25:14 +0000 UTCIt is truly amazing that this show actually went on for 15 years when it was only originally supposed to go for 5. I really did try to get into it, but considering it premiered right after Angel was prematurely canceled, and I never seem to measure up to anything that the buffyverse produced on any level, I only tuned in sporadically over the last 15 years, and mainly in the last year just to see where everything was going. I won't disparage anybody from watching it, but it is a major major major commitment that takes up an incredible amount of time and energy. Only the truly dedicated can't even contemplate toppling a reaction all this level, though Liam seems up to the task.

2022-03-11 15:22:39 +0000 UTCIt always amazes me that commitment that reactors make when they start a show like Supernatural, because when all is said and done, it's probably going to take you about 7 or 8 years to get through all the episodes.

2022-03-11 03:57:32 +0000 UTCI've never been a fan of this episode, but watching it again, it's probably not as bad as I thought - it has a lot of development for Dean, that worry of losing Sam. It also has some very quotable lines in it too. I think I just don't like the monsters of the week aspect of it. I wasn't a fan of the 'benders'
