Uh. Nope. not in the slightest. She got big into music for like a year and I'm pretty sure that's why she didn't

I wonder if she was filming Buffy and Lizzie Mcguire at the same time.

Look at Dawn shining! She continues to be on point with her research and knowledge building, cracking how to activate the shadow device. She also took charge and focused Willow after Buffy was gone, leading to Willow and Anya building on each others ideas and figuring it out instead of fighting.
I'm not too sure on the intended message behind this episode or with what Liam clocked as Buffy's controversial speech. I have no issues with Buffy's harsh tone but was confused whether we were meant to be in support of or opposed to what she said. She urged everyone to "get it done" as any cost, asking that Spike and Willow in particular take on some of their past darkness to become more powerful. But then she realises that it isn't worth it when presented with a similar choice. But later also tells Willow she thinks she made a mistake turning down the power.
Another interesting development is in this episode giving some context to Buffy's interpretation of Dracula's words in season 5. Her assessment that he saw that the slayer power was rooted in darkness was correct; it is literally demonic in origin.
