Comments

So I'm catching up on your Lucifer reactions this wekend and I gotta say after seeing your emotional state after this episode you're never going to make it through season 6. I binged it a couple of weks ago when it came out and I was crying like a little girl who lost her very mst favorite baby doll.

I loved your reaction to this episode. I always do enjoy all your reactions so much as you seem to really feel all the emotions and think so carefully about character's motivations and have such empathy. It was an emotional episode as Luci and us too get to hear those words we have all been waiting for...beautifully played by all concerned. We are building up to two very powerful and stunning episodes and although I am looking forward to your reactions, I am am also nervous... no spoilers but- what a rollercoaster* of a ride is coming. *Cliche, I know, but in the Show- so so true!

Nothing Lasts Forever- Thank you very much for another fantastic reaction for Lucifer, Liam! This episode is easily another one of my favorite episodes from this season. I absolutely love it! I love so much about this episode, from Lucifer battling the guy with a wooden sword and just his arms and hands at the dojo, to meeting all these new angels at God's retirement party, Lucifer apologizing to Maze for keeping his secret about her mother from her and Maze finally recognizing that he really just wanted to protect her from the truth that Lilith didn't care about her at all, Lucifer deeming Maze the new Queen of Hell, Ella's overarching storyline and her being told that her light is seen by God all the way up in Heaven, Chloe's moment towards the end between her and her mother when they talk about Chloe's father, Chloe's moment with Lucifer when she talks to him about retiring herself from the LAPD to become his consultant to help him become God, Remiel coming down to warn Lucifer and Chloe about Michael's plans and her backing Lucifer in support of him becoming God, and then Michael gaining Azrael's blade from Gabriel in the very end and plotting something very bad. However, I especially love, love, love the goodbye scene in the end between God and the Goddess with their sons. I absolutely love seeing the Goddess of all Creation again in the form of Charlotte Richards once more. The biggest stand out moment within this episode for me is when God tells Lucifer He loves him and is proud of the man Lucifer has become at last. Words that Lucifer most certainly never believed he would ever hear from their father. Just like he sadly tells to Earl Johnson in the end of season two's episode... God Johnson. So beautiful. Such a beautiful moment, and I absolutely love this moment so, so much!! The emotion that immediately comes over Lucifer upon hearing his father tell him He loves him for the first time in his very long and heartbreakingly tragic life is absolutely beautiful. And seeing father and son embrace one another is so, so wonderful. I absolutely love this moment!!! :) Thank you, dear friend!! Until your next reactions for Lucifer... Sincerely, Heidi
