It’s obviously just a theory, but I wonder if Cordy’s lack of attraction to Wesley is because her original attraction was somewhat of a Xander rebound(they were very much opposites with Wesley’s prim,proper and dignified manner standing out compared to Xander’s casual, laid back slang talking nature). Since memory loss Cordy hadn’t dated Xander yet, she didn’t have a need yet for the extreme opposite.

2021-06-26 00:56:20 +0000 UTCYou made a good point that while teenage Cordy was instantly attracted to Angel (even saying the same "hello salty goodness" she said when she first saw Angel in Never Kill a Boy on the First Date), she didn't react at all to Wesley. So is that more about how much Cordy changed between Buffy seasons 1 and 3 or more about how different Wesley's look has changed since Buffy season 3?
