Korik Silverward - WIP

Here's a couple of artworks that I'm currently working for my friend Baylien (@baylien91 on Tw/X) of his Half-Orc OC Korik Silverward. There's part of the main process along some initial sketches, and the last picture is the original cgi artwork made by Baylien, provided as main reference.
As a heads-up, I'm also currently working on some anatomy studies focused on Backs AND a big illustration of Fatal Fury... I'll post a first preview of the later as soon as I finishin drawing clean all the characters from the composition (currently, 2 characters only missing).

Yeah it's a study on Backs from body anatomy, focusing on muscle definition. It's like a little chart for personal reference and for whomever find it useful :)

2024-01-16 04:12:35 +0000 UTChmm, backs, I've seen these: https://www.patreon.com/posts/backs-7620221 https://www.patreon.com/posts/commission-work-27561901 Not sure if a male's back should have like a diamond-like shape along the spine when having broad shoulders and a thicc neck. Looking at TotK Ganondorf's back looks more like the first link than Ryo's, (especially the lower neck). If anything, I really hope Nintendo patches the game to make his back like Ryo's. Is it really called a "muscle definition" when it comes to having outlines around them? Because One Piece's Zoro isn't massive but there are outlines, for example: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/onepiece/images/2/2c/Zoro_Post_Enies_Lobby_Arc_Outfit.png/revision/latest?cb=20120814030843 where there is a line seperating his biceps from other parts.
