2025 Plans
Added 2024-09-28 14:36:03 +0000 UTCSo at the time that I write this, I don't intend to release any videos in 2024 that are "new," so to speak. I'll be finishing my work on re-editing the April Fools video, but I don't want to put out anything starring myself until April. This is partially to keep the storyline intact, but also just because I've felt so burnt out recently by releasing content.
So with that in mind, I thought I'd share my current attempts to plan out 2025. The first list is a theory of what I actually want to release in the year, the second list is general ideas that I want to do in the next 5 years.
Now, I recognize that this is very pipe-dreamy in tone. Going from posting 1-2 videos a year to posting 10 is hard to believe! But I plan on shifting my weight to making videos that are morel like 1-2 hours instead of 8-40. I'm currently trying to plan out a lot of these videos because I want to move in the next year and I need to finish filming on the old set. I have some Johnmas skits I still need to use, ETC.
This is my attempt to both try new things and appeal to the "stereotype" of what people expect my content to be. I'd really appreciate people's thoughts on these ideas, I've found more private conversations about where the channel should go very frustrating. I don't want to just get stuck in a loop of talking about Henry Danger and Game Shakers until I'm 40. I really want to make some stuff that helps new people find my stuff. So any thoughts about which ideas excite you would really help me get motivated to start writing in the next month.

I am excited for the titles I recognize on this list, but am looking forward to the shorter videos on the things I don't!! I love learning new things from you but 8-40 hours of something I haven't heard of before is intimidating. I hope this direction let's you take care of yourself and keep enjoying your work!!

But I would probably watch all of the videos. I love that you want to return to shorter videos, I find it easier to focus and I really like your style of presenting, especially when framed as a personal journey through the material.

Class does kinda just exist and not really justify being a spin off the link to doctor who is so tenuous. K9 and Company is one episode That K9 show isn't even made by the BBC. Bob Baker has the rights so he could make his own thing without the BBC. No one ever talks about it.

By honing in on a more narrow topic, you’ll get to focus on the parts that bring you the most joy, and I’m sure it’ll also translate in the quality of your content and the fun you’ll have doing it. Good luck! I’m happy to sit tight for whatever you have in store, and I will do my yearly rewatch of the iCarly videos regardless. :)

I’ve also always found Doofenshmirtz to be a deeply tragic character when I was watching the show so that’s be fun to see. And it’s just fun to see you talk about Garfield. Other than that The Biggest Loser, Air Buds, and Back at the Barnyard all seem like topics that might draw me to a channel, things I haven’t thought about in forever but would be curious to watch a deep dive about.
