Make sure they read it from the inventory or a surface. Not the Bookshelf "Read Book...".

2018-05-21 07:48:23 +0000 UTCHi, I just downloaded your Cookbooks mod. I don't think it's working. I have my Sims reading the books but no progress bar appears. They just seem to sit for hours reading the same book.
