an Update for the More Buyable Venues Mod...

I forgot how much work this can be^^

Planed for the update:

• Hotel Venue (almost finished)
• Cinema Venue
• plus some small changes

Hopefully i will get everything to work soon^^

How those will be functional:

Usually all Venues are both for your own Business to earn Money and as Venues you can visit without owning them (or other NPCs owning them).

The same will be for the Cinema Venue. I did not start on this yet but i'm sure it will be that way.

The Hotel Venue is a little bit more difficult or different:

I wanted this Venue to be flexible so you can use it to have a small B&B with 4 Beds, a Motel with 10 Beds or a Hotel with 20+ Beds. You could even use this to make a rentable Appartment House where you are the Landlord or a "Prison" with 50 Prisoners...

To make this work i used a different way to get Sims on the Lot. On this Lot (when you own it) you'll find a new Menu on Computers called (B&B|Motel|Hotel same as the venue Name-> if anyone has a better Idea for a neutral Name for the Venue/Menu pls let me know, maybe "Rentable Business"?). Within this Menu you have three Interactions:

Confirm Booking: Will open a SimPicker Menu where you can "choose" your Guests and they will then spawn on the Lot.

Currents Guests: Will show a SimPicker which shows all current Guests and if you pick them lets them also spawn on the lot (helpful when Guests vanish)

Check out Guests: Will open a SimPicker Menu where you can "choose" current Guests and they will then leave.

I will see if i can make specific Lot Traits for the different Types (hotel etc, Appartment and Prison) so the Interactions have different Names.

Money Loot will be collectable daily and is based on the Number of Beds on the Lot. Bed 1-10 will give 250$ per Bed. Bed 11-20 will give 125$ per Bed. Bed 21-40 will give 75$ per Bed. 40 Beds and above will give a random Money Loot between 5325-12500$

You could manage Rooms with my Unlock Door Mod and you could send Sims to Bed with my other Mod and so on. 

There are 2 Problems with this Type of Venue. I gave the Guests a max Duration of 100 Days but the Game will still respawn them when they are going to work or when you are away from the lot too long (i don't know if that is just the case when you are gone overnight or if there is a time limit when they respawn even if the Duration is still going on).

The latter Problem is "fixed" with the "Current Guests" Interaction. This Way you can "bring them back" when they are on a "sightseeing trip" ;) I gave the Guests a hidden trait for that.

The first Problem is still in Work. I will try to add a Function to the Hotel/Prison Lot Traits which helps to prevent Sims from going to work/school. (If i get it to work, they will have Free Days like the School Holiday Mod)

Anyway, this Mod is mainly for your own Hotel... Business but i guess you could use it as a Guest too. 

If i enable all the new Interactions not only for Lot Owners you could let other Guests spawn etc. I could also add an extra Interaction to let the Owner spawn. (If the Lot has an owner like a NPC or another Played Family) I could try to let them spawn like a Service NPC so they have certain Jobs like a Maid/Gardener/Repairman/Nanny Combination. 

And of course with some other Mods like Ask to Cook... it could work as an Hotel etc.? What do you think?
