A little update/rant on things

Hey folks, hope you're all good here.

Just wanted to give a little update on how things are going, mainly as I don't feel I've really been getting enough stuff out there lately - whether it's gaming or wrestling related, and obviously you deserve more than that. There are new videos being worked on -- I currently have three more videos about the arcades of classic companies that I'm doing over, specifically 80's Capcom, Jaleco and Irem. The aim, as it continues to be, is to try and start getting more ahead with the videos and actually have a backlog -- trying to get there is a pain.

There's been a few factors and distractions -- the main one being the book. The current situation with regards to Arcade Decades is that it's set for September, 6 months after the date that was originally set...not ideal, of course. I'm not quite able to go into all the detail as to why, but there will be a video with myself and Numskull about it as soon as we're able to -- it's been a very frustrating and stressful situation as my part's done, Numskull/Rubber Road are very much doing theirs as well when it comes to the laying out of the book and getting it all ready...as has been mentioned in the updates on Kickstarter, the issue currently lies with the photography. The book will come, but this part in particular has been painful and it doesn't often leave my mind -- I feel as though we've created a wonderful thing here, and it sucks that, as I've seen on people's comments on KS, that these delays are tarnishing it. That's the last thing I want.

There's various other more personal things that have, I suppose, contributed to me feeling like I'm not getting enough done, whether that's fair on myself or not - generally there's been a lot of upheaval, various things happening left and right and so on. Some of these things don't necessarily end up being bad -- as some of you may know from the streams, I went on stage with my drama group for the first time in a couple of years and we did a week's worth of performances -- rehearsing all that took a bunch of time, but it was certainly a lot of fun. Still, there's a lot of other distractions going on -- Gatzby in particular isn't feeling well at all, and it's likely kidney disease. That's a pretty major worry that I try not to think about all the time, but that's not exactly easy...in short, there just seems to be a lot of shit going on that makes my head feel like a bit of a mess, whether it's personal or related to the world at large or whatever, and that's perhaps why I currently feel frustrated and unable to get videos done the way that I was always able to do before.

Sorry about this being a little bit of a muddled rant, I felt I needed to get it off my chest a bit. There will be a video on Kim Justice this week, although it will be one of the compilation vids that I put out every 3-4 months or so, this time bundling up a bunch of Amiga vids. Not ideal as I'd prefer to be putting something new out this weekend, but the algorithm must be fed if possible. All being well, next week will bring some gaming, and some wrestling, not to mention a couple of fun streams. Thank you all for your continued support, and much love.
