2026-01-08 02:26:17 +0000 UTCYou see how in this episode there were multiple duck/bird references towars or about Livia, Tonys mother, and how it goes back to how this series started with Tony and the ducks in therapy. Its so fascinating the details in this show. There's now way it wasnt intentional by writers part

2026-01-05 04:15:23 +0000 UTC(on a personal note) As an owner of a bakery/coffeehouse I have had customers have their first date in my place and even had a couple get married at the table the met at.... I can't tell you what that last scene means to me. I could go on and on about how great this season was but truly... It's only the beginning. There is magic in these episodes. I legit used to watch this whole series once a year. Probably seen it more than 20 times and it still moves me how brilliant the show writing, cinematography, casting and sound design are. Perfection in pretty much every way. Every character crafted and acted to perfection. I think Tom said "this could be the best show I've reacted too".... Obviously that is a subjective statement but I can honestly say...no show I have ever seen takes such TIME with every character. Some episodes are painfully slow at times and you just... Sink into this universe. You get to know everyone... That their natural reactions would be. No show uses silence quite like this one. By this point in the show Gandolfini has began reading scripts and leaving out using words in leu of using facial reactions and gestures. The whole cast starts taking notes and acting lessons from Gandolfini and they start doing it as well. If you go back to last episode where the cop kills himself and Tony is sitting with the main prostitute... Watch his face... His eyes... He has a moment of regret... A moment of "he tried to talk to me and I didn't care". He never speaks it... But it's there... Her words begin to penetrate him and the guilt grows. In this episode Melfi talking about his mother... You start to see little things. He transforms... He takes an alpha position (edge of seat) his leg starts moving up and down .. he doesn't know what to do with his hands. He is telling her STOP without saying a word. He is turning into the warewolf before her eyes but she couldn't see it... Or didn't want too. This show is probably the closest thing to perfection that I have ever seen. I can't wait for you to watch more. It's brilliance grows and grows and the cast actually gets better and better. Dear lord .. 10 out of 10
