2026-01-02 18:57:10 +0000 UTCidk if you follow batman at all tom but bruce Wayne had his parents killed in front of him. That's the reason why he became batman to use his power and wealth to stop bad people but never kill. The ending was symbolic a representation of greed and a balance of power and morality. Joker coming back to life as soon as their dad dies. Such a good movie and is open to seeing it multiple different ways.

This movie means alot to me because it shines a light on untreated mental health. At least thats what I gleam from it. "The worst part about having mental illness is people expect you to pretend you dont" That's what he was writing in his journal. It breaks my heart.

To briefly relate, as mentioned I have Tourettes and growing up my most common tic was just a loud grunt like sound, it can be a real challenge breaking down the barriers that hearing that can create! Honestly, wish I had gotten those cards Arthur has haha. And TOM I agree with you. This film intentionally leaves a ton ambiguous, but we know for a fact if billionaire Thomas Wayne wanted forged documents he could have them. We have genuinely no idea what’s real at the end of the day. Anyway, thanks for watching this and remember folks, ain’t NO war but the CLASS war✊🎉

You finish the movie questioning what was real and what wasn’t. When he’s getting her file from the hospital it’s dingy and dirty and old looking. At the end it’s clean and white tiles and everything looks good and he tells the lady “I was thinking about a joke, you wouldn’t get it”. Go back to the very beginning and he tells his social worker “I think I felt better when I was locked up in the hospital” “and I can’t remember where but he also says his whole life has felt like a joke” Then later on says “even I didn’t know if I even existed” The you have his girlfriend that he imagined the whole thing. You literally walk away questioning your what’s real and not like someone who goes through it every day. It’s a small glimpse of what it’s like to not be able to trust what you are seeing. He wanted to make a movie about mental health and use Joker as a character to portray it
