This started insane from the jump, same as Naruto's life... MINUTE ONE!!!
I truly think these 2 episodes (248-249) might be my favorite anime I've ever watched. 248 had the perfect build up, culminating in the coolest move ever. And then 249, just wouldn't let up on the emotion. Kushina just kept going and going. I was doing well, but she just wouldn't shut the f**k up... (I didn't mean that Kushina sorry). God's strongest soldier ain't surviving that speech.
This was a yellow flashback of the leaf... and yet almost felt like a finale for Naruto in a way. Like as far as Naruto's character goes, he already had the respect from the village, but now he has found the Love and truth of his parents. I can imagine he is going to feel very self assured going forward. And from ep 1 to now, this felt like everything we could've wanted to learn about Naruto and his past.
I could of never conceptualised such an amazing past for Minato and Kushina, truly the best. RIP to the Goats.
