We’re blessed down here, about two hours south of San Francisco, to have a sizeable population of world-class, world-traveling models regularly available for ongoing projects and experimentation. As a result, though, our schedule (and budget) are often committed well in advance of receiving word from other traveling models coming to the area. That was the case on the first few occasions on which we were offered the chance to shoot with Liz Ashley. In fact, what you see in this shoot only happened because I was an Ass. (The word deserve capitalization, even if I was only responding badly to being called a pain in the ass.) Sadly, I deeply offended a good friend and model badly enough that our planned shoot was cancelled. (I’m heartbroken over that situation and still hope to find enough broken glass to crawl across to make amends. Seriously.)
Anyway, with Liz’s most recent correspondence still in mind, I let her know that I’d had a cancellation. (I didn’t go into the whole sordid story of my being an Ass since, even though I want to be authentic, transparent, and vulnerable in all things, I hadn’t actually met Liz yet, and—though, of course, I’m choosing to tell you that I’m not always the careful conversationalist I try to be—it seemed an awful lot of baggage to load onto a first meeting.
More about Liz as we post future sets. Why not here? For one thing, this is already in TL;DR territory. For another, though, this set of photos speaks for itself. Liz starts out demurely wrapped in a lovely white shirt-dress (though it IS sheer and backlit, as you can see) and progresses to the point of explicit close-ups from what would usually be the vantage point of much closer friends than she and I became, even during eight hours of shooting together.
So, enjoy all this. But also know that we’re only whetting your appetite for some more truly remarkable sets of images, all over our suite at The Chateau. We’ll be back soon to further feed your Liz Ashley addiction, I promise.
