How to Install via Curse Forge Launcher :
1. Download the Modpack linked above using Curse Forge
2. Once installed via CurseForge - click on play to launch the game once.
3. Close the game, then go back to Curse Forge.
4. Click the profile, NOT "Play"
5. Click the three dots next to "Play" and select "Open Folder"
6. Click on Saves
7. Extract Horror_Island_Final (1).zip to that folder

2022-12-12 22:54:08 +0000 UTCI love forge labs and his channel, and I've been watching for a while, but I've got to say this is one of the worst modpacks he's ever produced. Little to nothing is explained about this place, while usually, there is some guidance with other mod packs. But the biggest glaring issue is survivability. Nothing short of fully enchanted Netherite armor, potions, golden apples, and a few totems will allow you to survive more than two hits from most creatures in this pack, which is highly frustrating. So this is a warning to all who wish to download this. BE PREPARED TO DIE A LOT. And be set back to the beginning every time. Also, Forge, next time, please warn your subscribers that a particular mod pack is challenging and needs more guidance ahead of time. It will help people avoid frustrations, especially when we pay for nearly impossible content unless you're highly geared.

2022-09-05 21:33:59 +0000 UTCit should download as a zip folder you should be able to right click and select the extract option where it will give you the option to chose a file path, you can copy and paste the file path at the top of the file program where is says This PC> Local Disk> etc. and put it in the file path section of the extract part. If that didn't make sense, try looking up a tutorial on youtube, they will explain it much better.

2022-02-27 05:58:34 +0000 UTCyou have to take the folder from the download (not the zip, when you click on it there should be another folder) and put that folder into the "saves" folder for the instant that your using. access the folder needed for that by clicking on the 3 dots by the play option on cureforge!

2022-02-02 04:25:09 +0000 UTCYeah, I was too. I had to click in and download the file manually-- then go into curse forge, create a new profile--import, then select the zipped folder in my downloads. Then open the game, close it, and then unzip the files into the save folder that curse forge created and then it worked, as far as I can tell. :)

2022-01-31 00:28:00 +0000 UTCI was able to manually download via the instructions above, and it seems like some things are working-- (I had blood moon the first night and had to reload lol) but the monsters so far have seemed regular... I haven't seen any of the freaky monsters and the zombies, spiders and skeletons that I've encountered so far have been normal. Anyone have any thoughts? Maybe something didn't install correctly?
