a good thing for you guys to know is that dick halloran the overlook hotel chef from the shining is in this show, he was also in the book and they're giving him a little more to do here by using his "shine" (hes the guy driving them at the military base who keeps staring at hanlon), they havent said anything about the renewal of the show yet but andy muschietti planned for 3 seasons going back to early 1900 where it first appeared, they're covering these like interludes from the book about things that happened before the losers club, so we're going back 27 years every season

HYPE! HYPE! HYPE! HYPE! I'm so glad y'all are checking this series out, regardless of release schedule. So yes, all the crazy hallucinations are IT, it manifests as whatever it needs to in order to inspire fear and cause physical and or psychological pain, so everytime a hallucination happens it's essentially IT/Pennywise on screen. Even the clown Pennywise is just one of IT's favorite phobias to take the form of. Also when people leave Dairy they begin to experience extream memory loss so it's entirely possible that anyone in this series can have escaped IT only to not remember and thus have no part to play in the movies or IT's eventual defeat. Also some characters we already know make it at the very least to adult hood based on the films. Maybe it's because they leave temporarily and return or because IT eats it's fill before hibernating and they somehow outlast that. Either way no childs death is a given just like almost no child is safe.
