Massive update! (A Good thing for once)

TLDR: Took my PC to a tech and it will be fixed today or tomorrow, still have to fix some house issues but things could go back to normal soon. I won't be able to do Apr's rewards my apologies but if things go well May will go as normal. Once I'm ready to work I'll try to focus on commission to cover the PC's expenses and will do my best to finish the pending drawings from March once I can.

Good news for once

Hey everyone! After looking for different options and opinions I finally got my PC to a technician which luckily had all the pieces I needed, as expected a voltage issue was the one that caused my hard drive to malfunction so they are going to change it along with the power supply, they told me they were going to get it working today or tomorrow so hopefully it will be the case, then we would just have to find a solution for the power spikes we have at home
Turns out the laundry is connected to the same circuit as my entire room so whenever the washing machine is working it causes constant voltage spikes which was most likely what caused the whole issue to begin with, we need to get that fixed as well before getting my PC to work, I want to make sure this issue won't happen again so I won't go jobless another time and nothing worse happens to my workstation.

So what's next?

First of all I need to get my PC back and hopefully buy a power regulator for the laundry and a new power regulator for my PC since the one I had wasn't cutting it anymore, at least that will be the temporary solution before we get an electrician. Once my PC is working I will have to redownload all the programs I had since my hard drive was formatted and pretty much a total loss so nothing survived, luckily I still had my old laptop where I had most of my files up until 2023 so I got to back them up in an external hard drive to move all the files I can however I still lost like 2 years worth of files, my YCHs are gone so I will have to do them again, once that is sorted out I will be able to work again

As you can see the month is almost over and there is no way I can make a poll and get rewards done before may comes around so I would have to ask you to allow me to go this month without rewards so I can do May's like normal and find a space to finish the drawings I owe from March.
I know it's sumay and with that always comes a request fest however I think I will have to host it by the end of the month or in June depending on how stable things get hope you understand since I still have to finish pie day's requests.

The tech's bills went up to around 243usd and while I'm not in a bad position financialy I would like to focus first on recovering some of that money first so I would try to focus on commissions as soon as May starts, I will message the people in my queue first and depending if they are available or not I will make a public post about it.

Keep in mind that all of these plans are in case everything goes well which I hope but this year so far has shown me that things can always get worse ajdbslsba, I'm trying to stay positive since I'm in a better headspace than some days ago and I won't let pessimism ruin it for me, please manifest that everything will go according to plan haha

Miscellaneous things that happened while I was gone

So this month was a lot, financially, mentally and emotionally but to not whine about the bad things, I focused more on drawing things for me in traditional which helped a lot to relieve some of the stress.
I took driving classes! It was an intensive course with an hour and half drive for a week straight, it was very stressing but I approved it, the instructor told me to keep practicing before getting my license because I'm still a scaredy cat behind the wheel
I bought an iPad! I found a second hand tablet for a pretty reasonable price from someone in the neighborhood and while the timing wasn't the best since I also was waiting to get the bills from the tech I have been saving for one so I can work on the go (that's why I'm not including it with the expenses I want to cover with commissions), I'm still getting used to the new interfaces and ways to work so I'm advancing slowly but surely, hopefully later today I'll post a drawing I have been working on there, my aim is to use it as an alternative workstation whenever I'm not at home or something like this happens again

To those who stayed with me during this month even if I wasn't able to get the rewards done I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, it makes me really happy that you are willing to support me even during tough times and to those who left I understand entirely in this economy we need to prioritize well our money. I hope things go back to normal soon so I can give you your dose of big bellied and fat men 💖
