Looking forward to that WildeHopps piece, Lax!! But by the same token, please make sure you're pacing yourself and don't burn out! There are already so many amazing suggestions, and I'd love to see pretty much all of them, but I'll leave this little idea. What about Nick and Judy in some sort of travel setting? Maybe in the car on a roadtrip, or in an airport, or on an airplane, something like that. Can't wait to see what you do, Lax! Take care of yourself!

Wow!! That's a LOT of food for thought - thank you!! I'm absolutely loving all of these ideas and concepts, lots to explore here. I am indeed making a sort of comic/short video thing - I am not being commissioned to do it, it's a collaboration with some wonderful people; however because of BLM and the climate that erupted at the time, I decided to pause it until things settle down a little, since it's in a police precinct setting and people have a lot of negative opinions at the moment. It will still be done, don't worry! But yes, these are really great ideas. I'll definitely look into these. Thank you for sharing!

That's quite alright, it happens. Also, you did just move, so you'll need some time to settle in. (I definitely would) Some time ago you talked about making a WildeHopps comic? What happened to that? Also, some months ago, you posted a tease on twitter which, if I remember correctly was also a comic, that was commissioned? (Please, please don't feel pressured in any way, I'm just curious!!) Hmm... ideas... You did just make a drawing with Judy and Nick being wet in the rain. Would have loved to see them wet in the shower together. ;) Okay so here's just some ideas that maybe could be distilled/condensed into a drawing(s) or they can just be food for thoughts. -So Mr. Big mentioned something about Nick and his family breaking bread together. Any thoughts on how that would have looked and/or came about? -Nick said that he made $200 a day since he was 12. How did his first successful earning look like? (How did his previous unsuccessful attempts look like?) Like what kind of hustle did he pull off? Was it even a hustle? Maybe he got into that game later on? -What's the story behind his aloha shirts (Plural, because he at least has two that we know of). They share the same pattern as the wallpapers in his childhood home. Coincidence? Maybe they belonged to his dad? Did his dad make them? -What did Nick's dad do for a living? He was originally supposed to be a tailor. Any moments where his dad tried to show/teach Nick what tailoring was about? Another way to frame this question, does Nick have any fond memory of his dad? -What did Nick's mom do for a living? How did she earn money for Nick's uniform? -Going a bit forward in time, how was Nick's time in the academy? How did he get through the "enormous criminal" challenge? Would he get along with Major Friedkin? Okay, I am trying to think of things with Judy, but nothing really comes to mind. She's not really an enigma like Nick is. We got to see some of her childhood and her time at the academy. Everything is pretty straight forward with her, imo. There is one thing I've been wondering about though. When Nick graduated, he was lucky to have Judy being the one putting the badge on him. Judy, however, has now found herself in this odd situation that the two persons who gave her, her badge is now in jail...because she, herself, arrested them and put them there. Nick has, without question a photograph of his graduation with Judy standing beside him that he can proudly hang on his wall, maybe in the living room for everyone visiting to see. Can Judy do the same? Any pictures with Bellwether would be a no go, for sure. But more importantly, how does Judy feel about it? If she thinks back to her graduation day is it with fondness (still), with indifference, or is it something she'd rather not think about? Maybe, I'm just blowing this out of proportions? But Bellwether was a complete psychopath. Having stood beside her and shaking her hand is a shivering thought. (at least to me.) Some Nick/Judy/WildeHopps ideas: -Nick being good with kids is something I can never get enough of. Maybe he's visiting Bunnyburrow with Judy and is playing with her nieces and younger cousins. With either Judy participating or just observing with great fondness. -Nick giving Judy a massage (or vice versa) -The two enjoying a warm beverage late at night (while cuddling together on a couch?). -Being on a date at an amusement park at night (Wilde Times??) They could be in a Ferris wheel being at the top with a great view of Zootopia while cuddling together enjoying a kiss. -Being on a picnic in a park. Maybe have them get into a small food fight. -I would love to see them groom each other. Judy happily brushing Nick's tail or Nick lightly brushing Judy's ears. (Although it might be hard for him to keep his hands from Judy's tail) -Nick or Judy making breakfast, while the other has just walked up beside them (either just woken up or coming out from the showers), giving them a kiss (or the other turn their head and they both kiss) I will stop here. I do have a lot of NSFW ideas, but that might be better for another time. Take care Lax, I'm definitely looking forward to what you put out next.

How about... Nick and Judy on a double date with Legosi and Haru from Beastars? Or Restsuko and Haida from Aggretsuko? Or how about Bonnie and Stu Hopps on the couch, looking exhausted and a bit shell shocked, as young Judy (and maybe a dozen of her siblings) bounce around all hyper? Oh! Maybe just a sweet, wholesome pic of Nick's Mom and Dad with toddler Nick? If you're in the mood for something a bit raunchier, maybe Judy in a swimsuit and Nick with a cliche anime nosebleed? OR! If you want to branch out from Zoot pics while also making a few extra bucks, why not do some $5-$10 dollar pics of people's OCs?

Summer time beach time! Judy and Nick get some vacation time, maybe some preparatory swimsuit shopping, get some sun, enjoy the sights, surfing, sailing, swimming, fishing, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, volleyball, eating ice cream, looking for seashells, early morning runs down the beach, enjoying a luxurious hotel room together, late night walks on the beach, any of the above leading to make out sessions~~ Lots of fun summertime activity, lots of potential cameos too. Gazelle almost definitely has a private beach bungalow, Chief Bogo could be taking some mandatory time off(I think it was implied he has family, family vacation time?). Maybe there's some mandatory departmental recreation time and they're all at the beach doing a volleyball tournament and/or other team building activities. Fennec is almost certainly doing something vaguely shady down at the beach, or just catching some sun out of the back of his van. The Ottertons could use some chill family time in the water after the nighthowler incident. I hope you find your inspiration,I always look forward to seeing your art! 💖
