If he wanted to stop making edgy content I don't think it would have been as big of an outcry as it was I mean look at Joji or Chad and Max. They all stop edgy content and are still loved. I think if Idubbbz just made the new content or at most said he wants to move in a different direction and delisted the videos then who would genuinely care, but him constantly flogging himself is what's causing the controversy.
