So I know I’m a bit late to this one but I was taking an anthropology class when Ancient Apocalypse came out, the idea that saying it’s aliens making the pyramids specifically was inferred to be racist (and I don’t completely agree with it) is that you don’t hear theories about how white ancient civilizations had help from aliens, and less that it simply takes away from Egyptian architects, more that it only seems to be theorized that darker skinned civs needed the help. Just to clarify what the argument was ig. Thought some would find it interesting :)
