It's Finally Almost Time..
Added 2025-09-24 19:16:16 +0000 UTCSo this is going to be announced in more detail at the end of The Darkest Shore chapter but wanted to give you guys an early heads-up on this announcement! If you've been a long time Patreon this might be the 2nd time (or 3rd time) you've heard me talk about expanding on the Zombies series with new content but I am finally dedicating towards doing it.
For anyone who missed the expansion ideas in the past, it involves Solo EE Runs and Speedrunning! The initial plan was to publish this stuff on Youtube and expand the series on the main channel but with the Youtube views continuing to go down and the Patreon continuing to grow steadily, I ultimately decided that this content will be exclusive to the Twitch streams and to you guys on here. You guys are all that has kept this series alive so the Patreon is going to be the platform I focus on and continue to build further.
I will be starting with running Spaceland solo and turning that into an exclusive Patreon video and then the flood gates open, you guys will be free to vote for ANY map of your choosing (as long as a solo run is possible) for me to take on next. It's going to be fun to revisit maps from the past and also probably not fun at times as I imagine some of these runs are brutal solo.
The 2nd part is Speedrunning, this is the part I am not sure on yet, it will depend on scheduling/time management but if I have the time/evenings free I would like to learn the speedrun for every map that is picked by you guys (after Spaceland) and see if I can set an okay time on the leaderboards.
This was ultimately about finally leaving the title of Zombie Tourist behind and trying to (at least for a few select maps) become an actual Zombie player.
I'm not sure when I plan on doing the Spaceland steam, I'll keep you guys posted on Discord/here/Youtube Community Posts/Twitter. I'll try to make it clear but regardless of if you can make the streams or not (https://www.twitch.tv/defendthetwitch) the content will end up here in a nicely cut/down edited form, like you guys expect from our other exclusive content.
The plans are rough and I'll likely figure some things out as I go along but hope some of you are excited by this idea.
I intend to keep the Black Ops 3 Custom Map series alive but will have to figure out content flow/pacing as I go!

I second trying some of the WW2 challenges!!! There are even some speed running ones there if you want to try some of those! When it comes to additional content in a zombies game; there are two instances that come to mind: WW2's Challenges and something special in BO4 which I will keep my mouth shut for until you get there! WW2s challenges are some of the most fun memories I have in this game; definitely worth taking a look at!!!

I'd recommend sticking with the solo and not delving into speedrunning too much, it can be very frustrating, time consuming, and to be honest the viewership for speedrunning is a bit niche. Now I saw @mostpalone message and I will say I do agree with him at his point that this series would be great to have on the main youtube. A series titled for example: "I solo ever possible zombies map for the first time", I feel would do really well. I do understand though that it could be quite risky as you don't want the main series to suffer or take longer because of it and you don't want the viewers of the main series to be disenfranchised because of that. Maybe after the main series is fully done; then you could upload this solo series to the main youtube? I don't know, these are just some of my thoughts on the matter. Also, If you're looking for some content ideas for zombies for the patreon; I really would love for you to look into the character challenges in WW2. Maybe doing a mini series with Jamison or even patreons trying to do all the secret challenges might be fun! From personal experience, WW2s secret challenges added a lot of fun replayablility and is why it was my 2nd most played zombies game. This mechanic had so much potential and unfortunately wasn't done in any other game; I'm sure it would make for a couple interesting videos for sure. Oh and it would be a hell of challenge lol, but in a good way!

2025-09-29 09:23:50 +0000 UTCIf you ever decide to speedrun, just know it takes a lot of research to find optimal routes. And a lot more resetting the map when you do bad or get bad rng. I love speedrunning but if you wanna see success, I recommend speedrunning maps with less of a huge following. I was able to get the 2nd in the world time on a black ops 4 map called alpha omega, cause nobody rlly plays it competitively lol. But it did take months of grinding to get it
