i mean even in my hero season one there were classroom scenes and gag scenes atleast every other episode where the characters spoke about themselves id argue you knew way more of class 1-a by season 1 by far than the jjk group. Conversely, so far we've spent several episodes in jjk withouth much from the jjk school students. even when will said he didint know much of the class untill after 3 seasons, i mean even s2's culuture festival in mha had conversations, inner dialogue and goals of the classmates beyond midoriya. i think you'd be right in assuming in this show they just threw you into this shows tournament with way less depth to said characters participating in the jjk tourney. Doesn't mean there's nothing behind the characters tho i just didint know as much by this season till i started reading the jjk manga ( and ill be frank i still dont care about aLOT of chars in the manga). think about how important of a tool toudou is becoming to itadori in like one episode lmao
