2021-07-14 12:42:18 +0000 UTCEven so, I think the animation of vinland saga is better personally. The fluidity of Demon Slayer is amazing but the character designs are so boring. I only watched the first 14 episodes so if anything spectacular comes after that I can't judge.

Vinland Saga has the superior story and characters by far, and since it's a Seinen, it's thematically darker and the tone is more serious. It'd be a better follow-up to AoT. Not knocking Demon Slayer, but Shonen shows always follow the same generic formula and it'd be nice to break away from the mold to things like Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass, Parasyte, etc.
