Despite the last cliffhanger leaving me on the edge of my seat, I’m glad you took a break. Setting aside the fact that before anything else you’re a human being whose mental health is most important, I am further glad you took a break for entirely selfish reasons. I’ve read too many stories where after consistent quality writing the story abruptly declines in quality while maintaining the upload frequency before suddenly stopping without warning. This might be unnecessary, you could have just had something come up, maybe be the sleep issues you talked about were bothering you, I might just be being twice bitten thrice shy, and I don’t want to be too parasocial, but I hope you don’t just know intellectually but actually understand that us readers want you to put your mental health first and foremost. Sorry if this was inappropriate. I don’t have a good grasp on what it’s ok to say. I’m usually just a lurker who only reads stories and never comments.
