v0.3.1 Progress Report

Hello everyone.

It's July 1st and you are still here. That means a lot to me. Thank you so much. :) This next rent payment I have to make is going to be the first I'll be able to afford on my own in five months, even though I do have another freelance job. So your support is really really appreciated. For the future, I promise to put all my passion into this project as I did this past few weeks. Thank you.

So, since our last update has been almost a week ago, I wanted to show you that I'm not sitting here idly just counting coins. A lot of work has been done for version 0.3.1 and I'd like to highlight some of it. On Discord, I'm writing down my current progress more regularly and am ready for any kind of discussion with you whenever I'm online. For $10 or more Patrons, you can also already access alpha versions of the new content through Discord, although be aware that these are definitely going to be buggy. If you are interested in learning more about the progress, consider joining the community. ;)

Anyways, here's the list:

1. Time Schedule Balancing

In this version, I have squished the daytimes to only six: Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Late Night. The length of the days was a huge balancing issue because you could basically do everything in the house in one day, meaning there was no real choice when it comes to what actions to do. Now you'll have to choose between gaining popularity or becoming more affectionate with your fellow contestants. (Oh yeah, those talks won't give as much popularity as before by default.)

2. Makeup

In the next version, you'll be able to sit down on the vanity and choose what makeup to put on. What you'll be okay with wearing is based on exhibitionism as the clothes and certain styles will also give bimbo and sluttiness points. There are also certain tf events, that I don't want to spoil.

3. Compulsion Events

Speaking of bimbo and sluttiness points - they haven't had an effect in-game yet. With the next version, I've added "compulsion events" that will be triggered randomly if your character a) is not wearing revealing enough clothes, b) has fewer bimbo points than their IQ reduction score, c) has fewer sluttiness points than their Libido score. Also, don't let your arousal go too high in this new version as spontaneous orgasms could leave you vulnerable to being attacked.

4. Visual FX Tone-Down Settings

I have been getting a lot of messages about the fx being too... well fx-y? Anyways, I have programmed in a choice between three different visual levels with the highest being what we currently have and the lowest being very kind to the eyes, and where you will be able to read all texts without problems. You will be prompted to choose a setting at the start of a new game or at the first morning you wake up on old save games. There's also an option to change it in the settings menu.

5. Interaction Help

A lot of people have been saying that it was difficult for them to see what objects can be interacted with. So I've added a Help button in the bottom corner of the screen, that highlights all interactable objects when clicked.

6. Finishing the Schoolgirl Story Branch

With v0.3.0 I've basically rebuilt the old game with the old story from the ground up. I added a lot of dialogs, but I also had to leave a lot untouched. For the next version, I'm rebuilding the schoolgirl path to be shorter and triggered in a different way. I'll also set up the story for the second Asian path a little differently. You'll have to find out yourself. ;)

7. A lot more to come

My list of things to do in this version is still long. I'll add my complete changelog plus things that I want to finish before the update goes live underneath this text. There might be some things that I can't really say how long it'll take until I get them, for example, the new swim trunks and the bathing suit will only be worked on as soon as the new Abigail art is done. It is due today, but I don't want to rush awnarts. It'll be better if he takes his time. I can only start working on tanning lines as soon as I have those graphics of course because only then can I create tanning lines for those pieces of clothing. I could program it for only the bikini, but it'd be better if I had the others ready. The vending machine hallway graphics will still take about two weeks until we get it, but I'll have some preview images for you sooner.

- added Help-Button to highlight all interactable objects in the room

- added message for Patreon charging at the beginning of each month in menu

- added a message about the game versions only being available starting with the $5 Patreon tier

Bugs:

- fixed cooking not advancing time

- fixed streaming not advancing time

- fixed vibrator at the pool being opened by default

- fixed himari graphic in hobby room staying active after stamp dialog 

- fixed a bug where going naked has no mood effects
