Progress Report: Update coming This Week

UPDATE: I need another day or two to finish the update. I'm currently being employed on a fee basis, where my employer calls me in whenever he needs me and i bill them for every hour, so they can call me in whenever and I'll be happy to get the work. This week I got way more work than usual which is of course good for my financial status, but bad for the time I got to spend on the project. Just a quick explanation on how my schedule is going to be a little bit difficult to predict sometimes.

I'm currently finishing up the work on the next update of my new Twine-based game "The End of the World". You already got the very first version of it last month. I'll release the next prerelease version V -4.0 for Patreon this weekend. It includes a new area called the factory where you try to find some metal for the barricade of your HQ, but in order to reach it you have to trick an automated AI system into letting you into the robot repair room. Maybe connecting to one of those VR robot control systems wouldn't be a bad idea?

Here's an overview of the content that I have planned for the next few updates. It might be one update per month, but it could also be faster or slower depending on my progress. Game Design and Development aren't really the easiest to predict and I do still have the main job to actually earn money to live. ;)

- Find metals quest (Factory/Robot Storyline)

V -3.0 (May)

- Daily Zombie Attacks

- Meeting the powerful men of the city (Club, Farm, Mansion)

V -2.0 (June)

- Find the prism quest (Hospital/Hypnosis Quest)

- End of the chapter story (Repairing the barricade)

V -1.0 (July)

- A few more bad ends (Mall, Bar, etc.)

- Corrupting Annie (?)

V 0.1 (August)

- Polishing

PS: For BMO TV I'm currently waiting for the go-ahead of an artist, so there isn't much progress. If I don't hear back in the coming weeks I'll switch to a different artist.
