It's finally time for a progress report on the next patch, that will be released to Alpha at the beginning of next week, and will enter Beta stage on December 1st. Why December 1st, you ask?
The Christmas Surprise
Well... I'm finally ready to reveal to you the Christmas surprise, that we've been working on for some time. As is tradition here in Germany, I've prepared a Christmas Calendar for you all. Starting on December 1st, up until December 24th, you'll be able to open one package on the calendar. It'll contain some new clothes for your character every day. Every day will be available on the Alpha version, and every second one on the Beta. Then on the 25th, all packages will be openable on the Beta version as well.
I'm really excited about this, because I just love giving back to the community, and I'm sure you'll be happy with what's in it. I wasn't comfortable sharing this information earlier, because I was afraid that it wouldn't get finished. Let me tell you, it was a lot of work, and the work is not done yet, far from it, but I finally feel like it's going to get done in time.
Take a look at the living room during the holiday season:
I love the tree and the calendar, and how the packages bounce, and the little lights, but you're only going to see what's in it, when it's the day marked on the specific package. Packages will open midnight CET. You have to be online to open them, because it checks the time on the web server, so you can't cheat. ;)
Edit for Calrification: The calendar gifts will unlock once and then stay unlocked forever. So when you start a new playthrough anything you already unlocked will be available from the shop. Also, the packages will be openable any time after they have been unlocked. Their contents will also be obtainable in the shop in future versions.
New Bad Endings
This update also contains a series of bad ends, that I call the "Asylum Series". These are some dark twisted endings, that'll have you horrified at the psychological implications. I'll let you find out yourself how to trigger them, as they will be a bit more rare. Just one thing before you get your hopes up: They don't contain sexual content. They are just mental horror stories, but I'm sure you're going to like them.
The Monthly Competition Outfit
This month's clothing competition outfit is in! You all voted with an overwhelming majority for the tight pink latex dress, and so here it is. I hope you like how it turned out.
Gynoid Story
Last, but not least, the gynoid storyline will continue. I haven't been able to write it all yet, but I have a plan, and... more than a week left, so... yeah alright, maybe I won't be able to finish ALL of it. Anyways, I think it's better to just let the writing come when it comes, instead of forcing it, so I can't guarantee a completed branch, but there will be new content for it, and you will try to communicate with the mysterious robotic woman, that is coming to you in your dream. She seems to only speak binary though, so we'll see how that goes.
As always, I'm excited to get that next version into your hands, but I'll be busy with it for a little bit more.

For a number of folks who have mental illnesses, being institutionalized is a huge trauma trigger. For me it'd radically alter my perception of the game if I stumbled upon one of these endings.

2021-11-20 22:32:20 +0000 UTCjust so everyone reading this is aware: this was an issue with 0 and O not being distinguishable enough. I have removed 0 and O from the key generator. All future keys should not include those letters in the non-number only part.

2021-11-19 09:36:34 +0000 UTCWow, thanks for the hard work! To clarify on the calendar gifts: Do we have to be in the game at *exactly* midnight CET, or just any point during that day? Are the gifts permanent, or just during the Christmas update? I'm excited to play through this next update. It's going to be a challenge to not play too quickly through the update to a game over/end of content before getting all the calendar gifts :P
