I promise you going last on a song absolutely matters. Since it’s the last thing you hear, it sticks with you more. That’s why Wayne and Eminem tend to go last on their features. It’s a very well known thing.

Lucious’ whole thing is that he wants his family to be black royalty. His legacy is having a strong BLAVK family. If he gives the company to Andre, whose unstable, he is concerned that Andres wife will have control of the company at some point (either through death or conservatorship) putting his “Black business” in the hands of white people. Lucious is a complex character but he also has a big distrust in white people like most older black people so I think it’s actually very realistic to how most families are.
